About Private Universe
Located in North Ryde, Private Universe was founded by Brendan Helsham in June 2000. Initially providing simple break/fix support to a small range of clients, over time Private Universe grew to supply hardware and software and build its support base.
Private Universe has been providing IT Managed Services since 2011, to many different vertical markets including: local government, manufacturing, automotive, retail, legal, and many local businesses around Sydney.
In 2008, Private Universe added telephony services to its portfolio by partnering with 3CX. Since then, Private Universe has deployed over 300 phone systems. Currently Private Universe focus on delivering Cloud Hosted PBX services utilising AWS cloud infrastructure via its PBX Blue brand.
Private Universe partnered with AAPT in 2014 to deliver cost-effective business internet connections to its Managed Services clients. The partnership allows Private Universe to provide a service to its clients over and above what is typically expected from an ISP, and a unique ability for Private Universe to be a complete one-stop-shop for all IT needs.
Private Universe is a Cloud Solution Provider with Microsoft and continues to perform Microsoft 365 migrations for many clients.
Private Universe staff numbers vary from seven to ten depending upon the time of the year, servicing approximately 700 endpoints and servers.
